Our Chief Instructor - Kelli Jackson, is a former Bush Search & Rescue team member, and has led over 5,300 women on outdoors activities in Australia.
Kelli deployed to Afghanistan and the Middle East with the Australian Defence Force, has hiked extensively overseas (including in North Korea), and has a personal interest in Lost Person Psychology research.
She has spent four days living in her own natural wilderness shelter, survived 23 days without food, and has run a community Bushcraft & Survival Skills group.
She is interviewed regularly about the outdoors and survival by ABC Radio, been featured in magazines and has taught Survival Skills to Australian Special Forces members.
Kelli was nominated as Australian of the Year (Local Hero Award) in 2021, is a former MACPAC Product Ambassador and was 2022 ACT Woman of the Year, in recognition of her outdoors community work.
